My Superhero Unveiled
My superhero let me down when I found out she was just an ordinary human. I finally got to see her in person and she walked straight passed me. I clenched my black marker in my hand next to my favorite picture of her, ready for my hero’s autograph! I patiently waited all day in stormy weather for her to arrive. A glow used to surround her skin on TV like a burst of sunlight, but not anymore. There was a dull shadow that surrounded her now. Her eyes struck me like a bad flash of lightening as she let her thoughts take control of every innocent moment. She pierced a hole through my chest with her judgmental stare, as she told her entourage what she thought of me. I couldn’t tell if she was miserable inside or if she really thought I was the problem. I was taken back at her repugnant statements while I stood there watching.
