The Chase

We got so lost in chasing our dreams, we forgot about the shadows chasing after us. What an indescribable taste when your past collides with your present. Mistakes, regret, and disappointment lived in every breath I took searching for a solution. Lost in the moment, what we thought was our escape was only temporary. We could no longer keep running.
